The Stage | Festive presents for theatre fans
The Stage was first published in London on 1 February 1880 at a cost of three old pence for twelve pages – covering news and events in London's theatre industry.
141 years later, and the publication is still going strong.
And we're thrilled to see that our socks have been featured in their Christmas gift guide for theatre fans (and we're in esteemed company – hello floral gin designed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge).
Here's what The Stage had to say on our Shakespeare Collection:
Independent and sustainable sock company the London Sock Exchange (get it?) has teamed up with Shakespeare’s Globe to produce a new collection featuring some of the playwright’s most famous characters. Have Hamlet hugging your heels or Caesar keeping your soles snug. Pull on the Romeo and Juliet socks, but caution: thou shalt not stir one foot to seek a foe.
